Brush back and forth at an angle over the top of your band and bracket. Don’t forget to brush the biting surface of your teeth and the inside surfaces near your tongue.
Thread the floss under the archwire, remove the threader and floss each side of each tooth in the space. Pull the floss out of the space with one hand as you release the floss with your other hand.
It is important to note that certain foods are known for getting caught behind your braces and leading not only to stains, but cavities and other problems.

When you eat a bagel you should always cut it into small pieces, same goes for carrots and hard fruits like apples and pears. If you are someone who likes to eat ice, it’s definitely a good time to stop. Even without braces, chewing or crunching on ice is never good for your teeth.
